Returns & Refunds — Shop Zari

Shop Zari is a curated marketplace for pre-loved and new South Asian fashion. Because every item is one-of-a-kind, our return policy works a little differently than a typical retail store.

48-Hour Dispute Window

You have 48 hours from the moment your item is marked as delivered to report an issue. To be eligible for a dispute, the issue must fall into one of the following categories:

  • The item arrived with undisclosed damage not shown in the listing photos or description
  • The measurements provided differ significantly from the actual item
  • You received the wrong item
  • A "Receipt Verified" designer item is found to be inauthentic

Buyer's remorse, sizing based on accurate listed measurements, or simply changing your mind are not eligible for a dispute. All sales are otherwise final.

How to Start a Dispute

Contact us within 48 hours of delivery at azrabhimani@gmail.com with your order number, photos of the item received, and a description of the issue. We'll review and respond within 48 hours.

Damages and Issues

Please inspect your item as soon as it arrives. If something is wrong, reach out immediately within your 48-hour window so we can evaluate and make it right.

Return Shipping

If your dispute is approved, we'll send you a prepaid return shipping label so you can return the item directly to the seller. Return shipping costs are covered through the seller's refundable $12 listing hold — you will not be charged to return an eligible item. Items must be sent back to the address provided on your return label within the timeframe given in your return instructions. Items returned without an approved dispute will not be accepted.

Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected, we'll let you know if your refund has been approved. If approved, you'll be refunded to your original payment method within 10 business days. Bank and credit card processing times may add a few additional days. If more than 15 business days have passed since your refund was approved and you haven't received it, contact us at azrabhimani@gmail.com.

Non-Returnable Items

Sale items and any listing marked "Designer Claimed" (unverified) are not eligible for authenticity-related disputes, as these items are sold without a verified receipt and buyers acknowledge this at checkout.

Exchanges

We don't currently offer direct exchanges. If your return is approved, you're welcome to browse and purchase another piece separately once your refund is processed.
